Celebrating 50 years. Began in 1976 as a group of forty young musicians under the sponsorship of the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
The South Saskatchewan Youth Orchestra (SSYO) offers students from across Southern Saskatchewan an orchestral experience: the opportunity to learn, perform, travel, and make lasting friendships with other youth muicians. The SSYO, under the direction of Rudolf Sternadel, is open to orchestral musicians from the ages of 12–26.
