Knox Metropolitan Church informed the Board that an individual alleged to have been convicted of child abuse in the United States was seen attending their church service and may be living in the area.

The Board takes this information seriously and considers it to be a good reminder to musicians and parents to be ever vigilant about safety going in and out of the church before and after rehearsals.

Musicians, please do not walk to your vehicles alone - walk in groups, be alert to your surroundings and avoid distractions (i.e. cell phones).

It is the Board's expectation parents will speak with their children about safety concerns.  Thank you for your attention to this important notice.
