  • Applicants must be current SSYO members in good standing.
  • Applicants will play a complete movement from a concerto or a large solo work of own choice.
  • Applicants must supply an accompanist.

Once a winner is declared, the SSYO Music Director and competition winner will confer to determine when the concerto will be performed with the SSYO and what concerto will be performed with the aim being to determine a date and concerto that will work for both the competition winner and the Orchestra.

SSYO members interested in participating should contact Rudolf Sternadel. Please ensure that timing, key and number of your concerto are correct. Any special requests for performance time should be noted on application form. Please try to coordinate your accompanist so musicians with the same accompanist can be grouped close together. Please bring at least one copy of your music for the jury.
